Gang boss died of pancreatic cancer

The death of Taiwanese traid leaders Chen Chi li saw thousand of people to bid farewe to his funeral. About more then three thousand people from various gangs, queued to entered a make shift shrine where his coffin was laid and decorated with flowers and a huge portrait of Chen to pay their last respects to the late leaders of Bamboo union gangs with heavy police surveillance.

Chen was report to died of pancreatic cancer at the age of sixty four. Chen was said to turned the Bamboo union into one of the biggest gang in Taiwan. Gangs who came to respect him came from as far as Japan and Hong Hong. Chen was wanted by the Taiwan police for his involvement in gang activities and had lived in self imposed exile in Cambodia since 1966.
